    Homebrewer's Open House at the brewery

    On Saturday, May 3 S.M.A.S.H will be celebrating National Homebrewer's Day by hosting a group-brew on the patio at the brewery here at Brau Bros.  Members will be there to answer questions, show how it's done, and drink beer.  Come out, have a pint, and celebrate the great past-time of homebrewing!

    Also, this will kick off our official 10,000 Minutes of Minnesota Craft Beer Week Events!

    Happy Thanksgiving. I just marinated a standing pork roast for 12 hrs. in your Moo Joo oatmeal stout beer. The roast was rubbed down with SWAD Mustard oil, thyme, pepper, onion powder, and a few other spices... I poured the beer over it, and sprinkled brown sugar on it, wrapped and forgot in the refrig. Today I sheered the roast in bacon grease on all sides. Put in a pan with sauteed carrots, onion, celery. Poured the beer marinate over it and slow cooked it for four hours. LIKE OH WOW. talk about a fantastic roasted pork and gravy base!!! I can't drink beer but I can cook with it. That Moo Joo made the best pork roast marinate I have yet to make. Keep up the good work. cm.
