Ivan the Great, Russian Imperial Stout
Dustin BrauYou heard it right, releasing on January 24th, our first and only Imperial Stout! Definately an American take on the style. A ton of hops are used, throughout the boil, both to balance the massive amount of malt, and also to add hop flavor and aroma. A complex malt bill blends a variety of roasted malts pushing the ABV to just under 10%. Look for it on tap and in four packs very soon!

The 'Ivan the Great' is unfortunately the first beer I've tasted from this brewery. I say unfortunately because I wish I had tried them before! If the rest of the line-up is as wonderful as this, I've been missing out! I've had a few Imperials in the few years I've been on the dark stuff, and this is one of the best! Thank you! Hello Brau Brothers! Wow...I have had the pleasure of drinking the Braun Ale, the Moo Joos, and last night I had the pleasure of trying the Ivan the Great Russian Imperial Stout! All 3 are amazing and I cannot wait to venture into the rest of these bad boys. Keep up the great work and thank you for this amazing beer.
